De Minaur’s incredible shot came at the back of an insane rally with Bautista Agut that lasted almost a minute before the Australian won.
After a brilliant forehand from De Minaur, Bautista Agut lost his foot while attempting to reach the ball, before recovering in time to receive the Australian’s next shot.
Bautista Agut went to the line with his comeback, only for de Minaur, who was standing off the pitch when the Spaniard made contact with the ball, to come back on and secure a no-look return.
“I should have won it, I should have lost it and then won it,” exclaimed tennis great Todd Woodbridge of Nine.
“Where did that shot come from? It was an incredible shot of De Minaur,” Courier added.
“The exclamation mark on the best point I have seen so far in the ATP Cup.”
