WandaVision Star Paul Bettany has revealed that Avengers: Endgame will originally feature a post-credits scene that would have foreshadowed the Disney + show. Speaking with co-star Elizabeth Olsen in a recent IMDb Video, Bettany, who plays Vision in the new sitcom-style series, described an abandoned Avengers: Endgame scene that allegedly teased the potential return of the overpowered android to the Marvel Cinematic Universe, despite the character suffering from a death on screen during the events of 2018’s Avengers: Infinity War.

“At one point there was going to be a beacon, where [Scarlet Witch] opened some sort of body bag drawer and there was the Vision, ”Bettany explained during the“ Ask Yourself Anything ”session.[Marvel Studios boss] Kevin [Feige] spoke to me and said, “I have to fire the shots.” And I was like, “Ugh!” Because I really wanted this profit sharing! “

While he didn’t make an appearance in Avengers: Endgame, the Android Avenger did emerge in the MCU’s Phase 4 opener, WandaVision, which debuted on Disney + last Friday. Vision return.

With Wanda’s involvement in the Doctor Strange sequel, Multiverse of Madness, the Scarlet Witch might even end up as broken as she was for a while in the comics when the series draws to a close.
