Black Adam: Bodhi Sabongui portrayed in a mysterious role

Bodhi Sabongui has joined the cast of upcoming New Line and DC’s Black adam movie. Hollywood journalist, Sabongui has joined the star cast of Black Adam, led by Dwayne Johnson in the lead role. At this point, it’s unclear who the young actor will play as details are largely kept under wraps for now. It is however noted in the report that Sabongui will play “a key role in the Black Adam-DC canon”.

At 13, Sabongui is a rising star with a handful of credits to his name. He appeared as Behran in The CW’s DC’s Legends of Tomorrow before landing a recurring role playing Elliot in ABC’s A Million Little Things. Last year, he starred in Netflix’s The Babysitters Club, as well as the Netflix feature film The Main Event, directed by Jay Karas from a screenplay by Larry Postel.Sabongui joins the cast of Black Adam alongside Dwayne Johnson, who previously confirmed that the Justice Society will appear in the film. The team consists of Noah Centineo as Atom Smasher, Aldis Hodge as Hawkman, Quintessa Swindell as Cyclone, and Pierce Brosnan as Doctor Fate. Other cast members include Marwan Kenzari, Sarah Shahi, and James Cusati-Moyer.

Black Adam was extremely quick to complete his cast, with production set to start this week. Johnson announced the start date Wednesday via Instagram, where he showed himself “Black Adam ready”. The film itself is release scheduled for July 29, 2022, giving most of the production a little over a year to wrap up, provided the shoot isn’t delayed due to COVID-19 restrictions.

The upcoming DC Extended Universe movie is also slated for theatrical release, indicating that Warner Bros. to the intention of finally withdraw the card of its simultaneous versions of HBO Max and go back to a traditional film-only approach – however, that won’t happen this year as the studio previously announced. a hybrid distribution and theatrical release plan for its 2021 film slate.
