Call of Duty Black Ops Cold War launched last month and brought the shooter series to a new generation of consoles, and now its first major content update is about to arrive. While the “first season” add-on bundle was due to arrive on December 10, its the developers announced that they are pushing things back to December 16. This gives them a few more days to fix any issues with a gaming experience that spans multiple modes, platforms, titles and generations of consoles, and – if you think that matters – means it won’t be released. the same day as Cyberpunk 2077.
For what players can expect to see, things remain the same as what was detailed a month ago, with XP and level progression that syncs Cold War Black Ops, 2019’s Modern war, and the dedicated Warzone battle royale mode. This means that the player ranks in Modern war and Warzone will be reset, but any prizes they unlocked will still be available.
