These figures make 2020 a record and historic year for the Finnish developer. All of this was done without a new version of the game. Instead, success has come thanks to the continued sales of Control. Remedy launched the game on additional platforms in 2020, such as Steam, Xbox Game Pass, and cloud services, and an Ultimate Edition was released by 505 Games that included a next-gen upgrade for console gamers. .While no new games were released in 2020, Remedy has released expansions for Control, including AWE, which tied the story threads shared between Control and Alan Wake.
With a record year, Remedy is on course for a busy 2021 year in development. has reached a deal with the new publishing label of Epic Games, with which he will produce an AAA game and a smaller-scale project, both for console and PC.
Additionally, Remedy is also working with Smilegate on the single player campaign for the Xbox exclusive shooter, CrossfireX. We’ve already looked briefly at what has been produced so far, and it looks like Remedy goes full Call of Duty on this one.
