EVE online is a game known, among other things, for its huge (and expensive) space battles. And while you can get started with a relatively modest PC (and soon Mac), it has always helped to have a more powerful system. At least it was. Developer CCP Games announced today that it is starting to test a beta version of the game called EVE everywhere this will allow you to play MMO, well almost anywhere. All you need to experience the game in its latest incarnation is a compatible browser – be it Chrome, Edge, Safari or Firefox – and a fast enough internet connection. Additionally, the new client will allow you to play the game at 1080p and 60fps, with no additional downloads from you.
The beta is currently open to anyone in the US who wants to try it out, although there are some requirements that you must meet. Current players who pay for the Omega $ 15 per month game subscription can check out EVE everywhere anytime during the limited-time beta and at no additional cost. In the meantime, if you are new EVE, you will be automatically signed up for the beta when you create an account. You’ll have to wait for an invitation from CCP, although you can get a head start by paying for an Omega membership.
