Immortals Fenyx Rising: A New God introduces elaborate new chests that – in addition to looking much sunnier than the main campaign’s Tartaros chests – feature all-new puzzle elements, like Tesla Coils and interconnected portals, as well as plenty of challenges from delicate navigation and physics. As players complete the chests, they will be encouraged by Ares, Athena, Aphrodite, and Hephaistos, who will gradually reward Fenyx with four new ability upgrades. These allow Fenyx to do things like break down otherwise impassable barriers, or switch places with a statue-like clone, which becomes more and more vital as players tackle the last more complex chests. And, of course, there are plenty of opportunities to slice through hordes of tough monsters with Fenyx’s fully optimized combat abilities and a new set of god-friendly gear.
Immortals Fenyx Rising: A New God is now available as part of the Season Pass for Immortals Fenyx Rising, or as a separate purchase (and as long as it is playable without completing Immortals Fenyx Rising, story spoilers make it highly recommended). Fenyx’s rise to Olympos is also just the beginning of what lies ahead, with future DLC adventures allowing players to explore Chinese mythology in Myths of the Eastern Kingdom, or defeat monsters as the new champion of Fenyx Ash The lost gods.
