Navigating Instagram Stories from your desktop might soon be a little easier: Instagram is testing a new design for Stories on its website that gives the feature a much-needed makeover. With the new look, the stories appear in a carousel rather than a single thumbnail that takes up the entire page. The navigation is still the same – you can manually click on stories or let them play automatically – but now it’s easier to follow where you are in your queue.

It’s unclear how many users see the new look or if the change will become permanent. A spokesperson confirmed the test, which began appearing to a “small group” of Instagram users last month, but has not commented when it could be more widely available.
