Lamar Jackson injury update: concussion ends Ravens QB playoff game against Bills

Must read

The Ravens’ season ended with quarterback Lamar Jackson in the locker room.

Jackson, the reigning NFL MVP, went into concussion protocol and was ultimately ruled out of the AFC Division Round playoff game on Saturday night after Bills defensemen sent him crashing on the turf in the dying seconds of the third quarter.

Jackson was sent in to retrieve a stray snap, eventually managing to throw the ball away, but ate a pretty nasty blow in the process.

Jackson ran to the locker room after the hit, which ruled out any kind of leg injury.

Baltimore later announced Jackson was in concussion protocol, then went on to say he would not be returning to the game.

Quarterback Tyler Huntley entered the game relieving Jackson, who had a less than good game: 14 assists on 24, 162 yards and a pick of six.

The Ravens lost 17-3.
