Marvel’s bizarre and ever-changing Loki multi-font logo works as a really good teaser for the show’s subject matter, according to Loki himself, Tom Hiddleston. Talk to Empire For the June 2021 issue of the magazine, Hiddleston declined to explain what the show really is, but pointed to the “shapeshifter logo” as a good indicator of the show’s theme.

“I think this metamorphosed logo might give you an idea that Loki, the series, is about identity and integrating the disparate fragments of the many selves that he can be, and maybe the many selves that we are,” Hiddleston said. “I found it to be very exciting because I have always found Loki to be a very complex build. Who is this character that can wear so many masks, change shape, and seem to change his outward feeling on a sixpence? He also notes that Loki is the “quintessential shapeshifter” and that means audiences never quite know if the Asgardian trickster god is a hero, villain, or anti-hero.

Loki is set to launch on Disney + in June, and could well star Lady Loki. While the first season is yet to air, reports suggest Loki season 2 is already in development.
