The list of mounts below is in alphabetical order, just like in the pause menu. Use the subsections below to see mounts grouped by areas of the game.
How to tame mounts
Mounts aren’t marked on the map, even after you’ve discovered them, so the only way to find them is to spot them while you’re exploring the Golden Isles. Mounts can have 1, 2, or 3 stamina bars; mounts with 1 or 2 are found in herds, while those with 3 are found alone.
To tame a mount, crouch down and approach carefully so as not to frighten it. As you approach, a mount will face you and the camera will point them. When they have a red exclamation mark above their head, stop so as not to scare them. The higher their endurance, the more nervous they will be. Once you’ve gotten close enough, climb them up to tame them!
You can access all of your tamed mounts found in the inventory menu. Unlike all of the other items in inventory, mounts have no benefits outside of their toughness, and you can’t equip one mount and apply visuals from another either.
The Forgelands, Kleos Grove and King’s Peak will have several herds of the same species, namely Hellebore, Itea, Larkspur and Quicksilver. You don’t have to go after every herd: taming even one example will tame the rest of its species.

Found in the northwest corner of the Lord Spring, West of Gaia’s Soul Tree. In this area are high rock pillars; check the field east of them to find this herd.

The third flock is found shortly after the statue of the king of the gods. Head north on the path, but keep an eye on your left near the broken footbridge to spot the herd in the trees.

Found in the Kleos Grove, there are two Larkspur Herds that you can find to tame one. The first is around a pond: it will be just northeast of a farm of fields of blue flowers that is right on the border of the Gates of Tartaros.
The second flock is around a pond directly north of the statue of the Goddess of Wisdom. It’s east of the northeast corner of a square building with a fresco challenge inside.

The only mount found wandering the Clashing Rocks, Laurion is in the flat area of ​​the small island northeast of the big island south of the main area.
