Stardew Valley is full of NPC who you can talk to, flirt with, or buy and sell. Most of them are in the city, although weird people are a bit harder to find. Each page will tell you its birthday, its location, giftsand cardiac events.
Romantic NPCs
Here are the NPCs eligible for wedding. Shane and Emilie were added as romantic NPCs starting in Update 1.1. Krobus, although not romantic, can move into your farm as a best friend / roommate if he is maxed out and you are not married.
Other NPCs
In addition to these romance options, there are a variety of other NPCs in Stardew Valley. Some are there at the start of the game, others arrive on certain dates, and others arrive at the end of a quest.
About half of them can receive gifts and basically work the same as romantic NPCs with gift preferences and heart events, they just won’t marry you in the end. The other half exist in the game for specific quest reasons, and will not accept gifts and therefore have no heart rating. Check out the differences below /
NPCs to offer
These NPCs are all eligible to receive gifts to strengthen their friendship. While there are certain universal gifts that all (or at least most) villagers feel the same, each villager has their own preferences. Click on each name to see which gifts to give them and use the Gifts page to see which gifts fall into which Universal category.
NPCs not offered as gifts
These NPCs cannot receive gifts. Maybe it’s because they are only related to certain quests, accept other donations (at Museum, for example), or are there to offer rewards. Click on it to see what each of them does in the game.
