Just a day after a massive Xbox Live outage, Sony’s PlayStation Network has been struggling for several hours. The problem for this is a little different and based on reports may only affect some games. Sony PSN Status Page reports that “You may have difficulty launching games, applications, or network features” on platforms such as the PS Vita, PS3, PS4, and PS5.
Some people have had problems trying to go online to gamble Call of Duty: Warzone or Minecraft, while other games like Fortnite seem accessible. The status page says this issue started around 6:33 p.m. ET, but online gamers noted issues several hours ago. At least in this case, it looks like most people won’t have to log out to try and play their games, and may just have to change titles until that’s resolved.
