HP has launched a new initiative called “Omen Presents” which will see it collaborate with developers to create “innovative PC gaming experiences”. He launched this adventure at the Game Awards by revealing Route 96, a procedurally generated 3D game created in partnership with DigixArt. Although not a household name, the French studio has proven its artistic credentials with 11-11: Recounted memories, a pictorial collaboration with the Aardman animation center.
HP said that Omen Presents will help developers with tools and resources, as well as collaborative activities such as “beta access, freebies and additional content created throughout their game’s lifecycle.” The company said that Route 96 will be released sometime in 2021 and promise more collaborations later.
