Super Mario 3D World + Bowser’s Fury is coming to Nintendo Switch on February 12, 2021 (see on Amazon). It includes the full original Wii U game from 2013, as well as a new expansion called Bowser’s Fury. Nintendo released a two minute trailer showing some of the new features added to this version of the game. Either way, it’s pre-order now. The original Super Mario 3D World is a fantastic Mario game that, judging by the Wii U sales numbers, many Switch owners missed when it was first released. Up to four players can play simultaneously online or locally. A power-up available in the game turns characters into cats who can claw enemies and climb walls. Currently, the game is only available in physical form at Best Buy, but I expect it to appear at other major online retailers today. When it does, I will update the list above. As usual with Nintendo games, the Standard Edition is all that’s available. No special editions or pre-order bonuses have been announced. If they are in the future, I will add them here.

To accompany the game’s one-time power-up, the new Cat Mario and Cat Peach amiibos will arrive separately or as a double pack on the game’s release day, February 12, 2021.
