Naughty Dog has a new co-chair, and he’s the creative director behind some of its most popular titles. The company has ad as Neil Druckmann, who led development for The last of us franchise as well as for Uncharted 4, was promoted to co-chair. Druckmann was a programmer and designer before being appointed vice president in March 2018 when he The Last of Us Part II was still in development.
Since Druckmann stepped down from his old role, the company has also promoted Alison Mori and Christian Gyrling to the position of Co-Vice Presidents. Mori and Gyrling were COO and Co-Director of Programming for Naughty Dog, respectively. On Twitter, the new president said he would continue to direct and write games despite the promotion, while mentoring the next wave of creators.
