Tinder’s parent company, Match Group, is teaming up with one of the largest anti-sexual violence groups in the United States to verify how it handles reports of sexual assault on its many dating platforms. The Rape, Abuse & Incest National Network (RAINN) “will conduct a comprehensive review of reports of sexual misconduct, moderation and response on Match Group dating platforms and will work together to improve current security systems and tools “, the society said monday.

The first phase of the review will focus on Tinder, Hinge, and Plenty of Fish before moving on to Match’s other platforms – the company has around 40 other dating brands in total. The partnership, which Axios was the first to report on, will continue until 2021, with the deployment of the recommended changes “shortly thereafter”
