Gronkowski, who is set to play all 16 regular-season games for the first time since succeeding with the Patriots in 2011, said Brady’s approach has remained unchanged.
“As a player he really hasn’t changed. From the second I first met him he’s been all-in, all-in with practices, all-in with meetings, all -in trying to improve every day. It just continued throughout his career up to this point, “he said at a press conference on Thursday.
“I wouldn’t say that there is still longer after training to improve, no he always stayed away after training, he always tried to work with the players in every training, when it is, to improve.
“I would just say he’s been so consistent at such a high pace throughout the time I’ve met him.”
Gronkowski has come out of retirement to join Brady with the Buccaneers, who will end their regular season against the Falcons on Sunday.
Brady praised Gronkowski, 31, with the duo in their 10th NFL season together.
“It’s amazing. I’ve known him from his time in the league, he has an amazing work ethic, a tough player, very selfless, a great teammate, does whatever you ask him to do,” said the quarterback. -back.
“I don’t just think about his skills as a player because [he is] one of the few tight ends that can be a dominant tackle in running play and pass protection play, but also run routes and be a dominant wide receiver which is very rare for any true end tight.
“I love playing with this guy, he knows how I feel about him, he’s got a lot of confidence in the greatest moments with him. Sometimes I think of players like it’s the fourth quarter of the Super Bowl. Would I want in the game with me? It really fits that. It just means that in the most important moments, who do you want out there, and when he can deliver like he always has, that? is a big compliment to him and the way, not just me, how I feel for him, but how all his teammates feel for him, just an amazing player, a teammate, everything, love to play with this guy. “
