Brady is the all-time leader in the NFL with 581 touchdowns. He ranks second in career passing yards (79,204). He also has a career passer rating of 97.3, which ranks seventh all-time.

Mahomes has been the Kansas City starter for the past three seasons. He totaled 14,152 passing yards, 114 touchdowns and 24 interceptions. Mahomes has the highest passer rating in NFL history at 108.7.

Brady and Mahomes have teamed up to win four Associated Press NFL MVP awards. Brady won the award in 2007, 2010 and 2017. Mahomes won the award in 2018.

New England 43, Kansas City 40 (November 4, 2018)

The Patriots won a shootout 43-40 in the first game between the two quarters. Brady passed for 340 yards and a TD. Mahomes finished with 352 yards, four touchdowns and two interceptions – and the Chiefs tied the game late on a 75-yard touchdown pass to Tyreek Hill. Brady, however, set up the winning basket with a last minute practice.

New England 37, Kansas City 31 (January 20, 2019)

The 2018 AFC Championship was a thriller at Arrowhead Stadium. Mahomes finished with 295 yards and three touchdowns, and the Chiefs tied the game at the end of regulation. The Patriots won the overtime draw, however, and Brady led the winning run that ended with Rex Burkhead’s two-yard TD run.

Kansas City 23, New England 16 (December 8, 2019)

Mahomes earned his first head-to-head victory in a regular season game at Gillette Stadium. Mahomes finished with 283 yards, one touchdown and one interception. Brady had 169 yards, one TD and one interception in the loss.

Kansas City 27, Tampa Bay 24 (November 29, 2020)

The Chiefs took a 27-10 lead and held on for the win. Mahomes had 462 yards, three touchdowns and no interceptions. Brady threw a pair of fourth quarter touchdowns at Mike Evans on a comeback attempt. He finished with 345 yards, three touchdowns and two interceptions.

Brady has more playoff wins than any other quarterback in NFL history. Brady is 33-11 in the playoffs and has averaged 278.4 passing yards with a total of 80 touchdowns and 38 interceptions in those games. He’s a four-time Super Bowl MVP looking for an all-time seventh Super Bowl Championship.

Mahomes is 6-1 in the playoffs and has won five in a row since losing the AFC championship to the Patriots. He’s averaged 293.4 passing yards with 17 touchdowns and two interceptions in those games. Mahomes was last year’s Super Bowl MVP.
