Week 15 FanDuel Picks: NFL DFS Composition Tips for Daily Fantasy Football GPP Tournaments

Must read

Before we get into our FanDuel Week 15 tournament lineup, one recognition: Mike Glennon was a bad game last week. It didn’t work out like Jake Luton did earlier this season. Hope you’ve read all season and are still in the dark that you used each of these guys when we recommended them. On the bright side, there’s always another week in DFS.

We took another QB value this week, only we can feel more confident in this one. Jalen Hurts’ pricing on FD is very sympathetic and allows us to play Derrick Henry, Cooper Kupp, Michael Thomas and Jonathan Taylor, which gives us some serious firepower to try and move up the GPP rankings.

FanDuel Picks Week 15: NFL DFS Lineup for GPP

QB Jalen Hurts, Eagles @ Cardinals ($ 6,900)

Hurts was brilliant as a runner on his first start in the NFL, totaling 106 rushing yards. Even with just one total touchdown, Hurts racked up 19 FD points. It’s fair to expect a similar total at Week 15 in a game with Kyler Murray. Whether Hurts does it a bit more in the air in what could be a shootout or does it on the ground again, we now know he has a fun floor / ceiling combination.

RB Derrick Henry, Titans vs. Lions ($ 10,200)

Henry is the big decision this week in the DFS rosters. He’ll be highly possessed at his hefty price tag, and he’s also very likely to produce against a Detroit defense that is football’s worst. How can you make it go away? This is a chance to grab if you do 10 or 20 lineups as it will give you more flexibility and give you the edge of winning tournaments if Henry is struggling. But it’s hard to see that happen, and paying to QB means playing Henry isn’t too crippling.

RB JK Dobbins, Ravens vs. Jaguars ($ 5,900)

The Jaguars have given back the fifth-most FD points to running backs this season, and of course Lamar Jackson will take some of the fun out of the race, but Dobbins nabbed RB’s lead in that attack. Despite Gus Edwards’ Week 14 touchdowns, Dobbins is the best game here out of Baltimore’s backfield. It has a value of less than $ 6,000.

WR Cooper Kupp, Rams vs. Jets ($ 7,100)

The Rams should destroy the Jets, and Kupp is set for a good game against a 10-pass defense. It’s always difficult to choose between Kupp and Robert Woods, so we made the call thanks to Kupp’s slight reduction of Woods. Both are worth a try if you have multiple queues.

WR Michael Thomas, Saints vs Chiefs ($ 7,000)

One way the Saints have beaten Patrick Mahomes and the Chiefs is to get Thomas involved early and often. Taysom Hill likes to throw him, as does Drew Brees (ribs). Whatever quarterback starts, it’s good for Thomas, and he’s seen his price drop sharply since the start of the season. It’s time for him to start climbing again.

WR Jalen Reagor, Eagles @ Cardinals ($ 5,500)

There isn’t a perfect stacking option for Hurts, especially if he’s doing a lot of running and not a lot of throwing. But Reagor is the big game threat in this attack, not Greg Ward or Alshon Jeffery or tight ends. So for a tournament stack, why not move all-in on a deep connection?

TE Cole Kmet, Bears @ Vikings ($ 5,100)

Man, it was a tough break when we played Kmet last week and Jimmy Graham caught the Chicago touchdown. Kmet saw seven targets for the second week in a row, and that’s why we’re back here with him. He’s seen some consistent shots and goals now, and that’s truer of him than any other TE at this price point or less.

WEEK 15 PPR RANKING:
Strategist | Come back | Wide receiver | Tight end | D / ST | Kicker

FLEX Jonathan Taylor, Colts vs Texans ($ 7,400)

The Lions have allowed the running backs the most fantastic points this season, and that’s why we’re playing Henry. Guess who is the second worst? Yeah, the Texans. After a strange period of heavy use of Nyheim Hines, Taylor has taken over that backfield and he will show up against Houston.

STANDARD RANKING FOR WEEK 15:
Strategist | Come back | Wide receiver | Tight end | D / ST | Kicker

DEF Baltimore Ravens vs Jaguars ($ 4,800)

Gardner Minshew is back as a starter from Jacksonville, and he was a classic target for all of us last season to take advantage of his rolling habits. It’s a Jaguars team that’s going nowhere, and playing Baltimore also gives us the fun game stream stack with Dobbins.
