With the network turned off, some viewers finally picked up the channel around 3:15 p.m., a few minutes after the match began. Most fans were able to nab the game’s first score, but it’s safe to assume that the NFL and network executives won’t be happy with the outage.

Why is CBS down?
While no official word has come from CBS, viewers at Comcast, Spectrum and DirecTV have all referred to issues viewing the channel as the Chiefs vs Browns division game kicks off.
For those trying to figure out how to fix the situation, the only option seems to be to wait – the game has finally returned to the network, with some vendors acknowledging the outage.
