April 27, 2021 – Republican Senator from Alaska State Banned from Alaska Airlines for Refusing to Obey mask rules.
“We have informed Senator Lora Reinbold that she is not permitted to fly with us due to her continued refusal to comply with employee instructions regarding the current mask policy,” spokesman Tim Thompson told the Daily News from Anchorage the Saturday, CBS News reported.
The ban is effective immediately and its duration will be determined by review, Thompson said.
Reinbold, a Republican from Eagle River who has repeatedly opposed Alaska Airline’s mask policy, said she was not made aware of the ban and hoped to be on a flight with the company aerial in the near future, CBS News reported.
