A few weeks ago Andrade confirmed reports of him allegedly requested his release from WWE. The former United States Champion has now taken to Twitter to post a cryptic tweet that prompted more questions than answers regarding his future at the company.

In the tweet, the Mexican star wrote “good news” in both English and her native Spanish language and added her signature slogan of “ranquilo” with “happy”.

Although the tweet indicates that Andrade is in a good mood, it does not specify whether he has secured his release from WWE or if he has signed a new contract with the company.

Is Andrade leaving WWE or signing again?

According to a precedent report, Andrade was apparently dissatisfied with his current role in WWE and apparently asked superiors to grant him his release.

However, Dave Meltzer of The Wrestling Observer reported that WWE refused his request for release.

Andrade requested his release from WWE earlier this week, but was turned down. Wrestling Inc. was the first to report that he requested his release during Raw tapes last Monday with Dave Meltzer confirming both the request and denial. “

El Idolo has been away from WWE TV since he was eliminated, along with Zelina Vega, by The Fiend and Alexa Bliss during an episode of RAW last year. Vega was released from WWE shortly thereafter and it remains to be seen what the future holds for her former client Andrade.
