Actors Hugh Grant and Sophia Lillis join cast for upcoming Paramount movie Dungeons & Dragons Movie, Deadline reports.
While plot details on the film have been kept under wraps, Deadline sources say Grant will play the story’s antagonist. Grant, a longtime staple of British cinema and romantic comedies, has just released the well-received HBO series The Undoing, which earned him a Golden Globe nomination.
It is currently not known which character will be played by Sophia Lillis, who played the role of Beverly Marsh in 2017. It remakes and that Chapter Two. Lillis also starred in Gretel & Hansel in 2020, HBO’s Sharp Objects, and Netflix’s I Am Not Okay With This.

The couple join previously confirmed cast including Chris Pine, Michelle Rodriguez, Detective Pikachu’s Judge Smith and Bridgerton’s Rege-Jean Page. Former Marvel Studios executive Jeremy Latcham is responsible for producing for eOne. Spider-Man: Homecoming Jonathan Goldstein and John Francis Daley are committed to the making.
