Loot chests
One of the most common ways to get Miracle Weapons in Outbreak is to search the various maps for hidden loot chests which can often be found in buildings and other random locations. These loot chests normally contain everything from rare weapons, salvage items, ammo, armor, and even consumables.
While these chests are not marked on your minimap, they can be found by listening to a clink-like noise, followed by childish laughter. If you can hear this noise, it will indicate that a loot chest can be found somewhere nearby.It’s important to remember that loot chests come in different rarity levels, so don’t be surprised if you need to do a bit of research before stumbling across the rarer level chests.
If you’re lucky, you might even stumble upon a Gold Chest, which is the rarest Loot Chest you can find. However, before you can open the chest, you’ll be prompted for a random challenge.
After completing the challenge, you will be able to open the Gold Chest, which has one of the highest success rates for dropping Wonder Weapons.
Testing
Similar to Firebase Z, players will have the option to complete trials by interacting with the trial computers that are on the map.
Each try will earn you 500 points, and players will have a total of five minutes to accumulate enough points to reach the Legendary Weapon Level reward. While reaching Legendary level doesn’t necessarily grant you a miracle weapon, your chances of receiving it as a reward will be greatly increased.
Mystery boxes
Yet another way to get a Miracle Weapon in Outbreak is to simply find and test your luck when opening the Mystery Boxes. Receiving a Miracle Weapon from a Mystery Box is pure luck, but it really is a possibility, but we suggest you open them with very little expectation so you won’t be disappointed.You can find Mystery Box locations on your map and minimap.
Megaton Zombies
Finally, your last option to get a miracle weapon is to kill Megaton zombies – that’s right, the same mighty zombies from Die Maschine Easter Egg.
Finding a Zombie Megaton can be a bit tricky at first, as it won’t appear on the map until you’ve completed at least four main objectives. Keep in mind, however, that killing Megaton Zombies is not a guaranteed way to receive Wonder Weapons.
