Is Keenan Allen playing Thursday night?
Allen (hamstring) was limited in practice the last two days, but he is expected to play against the Raiders. Last week he caught nine of 11 targets for 52 yards and one score while dealing with the mild hamstring issue, so we don’t expect that to slow him down this week. In Week 9 against the Raiders, he caught nine of 11 targets for 103 yards and a touchdown, and that seems like a reasonable projection this week.
If Allen is a surprise scratch, Mike Williams (back) would be the Chargers ‘No.1 receiver, but he’s also’ questionable ‘so it could go to Tyron Johnson and Jalen Guyton as Los Angeles’ top two receivers. . The end result of this could be that TE Hunter Henry and RB Austin Ekeler get more targets, but given the favorable game, Johnson and Guyton would both have an upward or downward flex.
