Last year, actor Keanu reeves, NOThe York Times bestselling writer Matt Kindt and artist Ron Garney have launched a Kickstarter campaign to BRZRKR, a comic book series about an immortal warrior who looks like Reeves. The campaign was adopted by more than 14,000 people who together pledged a colossal sum of $ 1,400,000 to make this project happen.
Supporters of this Kickstarter receive the full story in three hard or softcover books. The studios, BRZRKR It’s worth tracking down, as nearly every page shows Reeves in action, brutal and efficient just like John Wick. Reeves’ dark wavy hair and understated demeanor also comes in almost any frame.
The action takes center stage and there is little story progression until the final pages of this first chapter, but big reveals are delivered, one of which relates to Reeves’ character Berserker, eating a pill that is both red and blue in color. Berserker is a demi-mortal, a demigod with regenerative powers similar to those of Deadpool. He lived and fought for centuries, but ended up working for the US government as someone who tackles missions too dangerous for an ordinary human.
