The 3 of March SpaceX Spaceship had a successful high-altitude flight – his third in a row. Contrary to the first two missions, the spacecraft stuck the landing. Then, as in the last two, the spaceship exploded.
What happened: At approximately 5:14 p.m. PT, the 10th Prototype Spacecraft (SN10) was launched from SpaceX’s test facility in Boca Chica, Texas, flying approximately 10 kilometers into the air before fall back down and come back down safely to Earth.
About 10 minutes later, the spacecraft exploded, due to what appeared to be a methane leak. Yet the real objectives of the mission were achieved.
