NASCAR drivers take their talents to South Beach on Sunday.
Two weeks after the wild arrival at Daytona and a week after Christopher Bell won the first checkered flag of his career, the Cup Series drivers remain in the Sunshine State for the Dixie Vodka 400 at Homestead-Miami Speedway.
Denny Hamlin enters Sunday’s race topped the drivers’ standings with 102 points, leading Joey Logano (92 points) and Kevin Harvick (83 points) after two races. Bell’s first place puts him one point behind Harvick in fourth place.

NASCAR at Homestead Live Updates, Dixie Vodka 400 Highlights
5:26 p.m .: At 24 laps from the end of stage 2, Martin Truex is leading the race for the first time this season. Bruescher is still lagging behind in second. Timmy Hill and James Davison are both DNF today.
5:14 p.m .: The pit stops have started, halfway through stage 2.
5:04 p.m .: Denny Hamlin pushes for the 10th, battling with Kyle Larson for positioning. Quite the turnaround for Hamlin.
4:58 p.m .: Chase Elliott takes first place in the round, but still has a tight field behind him.
4:57 p.m .: We had a reboot, Buescher, Keselowski, Bowman, Elliott, Logano rounding out the top five. Byron and Larson are all fighting for their position.
4:46 p.m .: Chris Buescher wins Stage 1, his second career stage victory.
4:42 p.m .: Eight laps to go in Stage 1, with Brad Keselowski and Chris Buescher battling for the top spot. They are separated by tenths of a second. Martin Truex is in the top five. Alex Bowman sneaks into No.3.
4:39 p.m .: Denny Hamlin says he expects electrical problems after his air conditioner is sold. It turns out the pipe just came out.
4:33 p.m .: Watch out for Davison. Chris Buescher takes the lead.
4:27 p.m .: Kevin Harvick came out of the top 10 and Martin Truex is now in the top 10.
4:18 p.m .: Chris Buescher slips to second place while William Byron takes third. Joey Logano fourth and Stenhouse fifth. Hamlin is still stuck in 20th, not making much room.
4:10 p.m .: Lap 31 of 80 in stage 1, and we are green again. Keselowski and Logano still 1-2 on the track. Denny Hamil until the 19th.
4:04 p.m .: Watch out for the competition and the stands are open.
4:01 p.m .: Keselowski manages to take the lead from Logano and opens a 3 1/2 second lead over his teammate.
3:53 p.m .: Logano, Brad Keselowski, Kurt Busch and Kevin Harvick vie for the spot, with Christopher Bell completing the top five. Ricky Stenhouse and Kyle Larson were vying for 10th place, but Larson easily made it into the top 10.
3:48 p.m .: We have a green flag and Logano is in the lead.
3:40 p.m .: Denny Hamlin at the back of the pack, leaving Logano at the front.

The green flag for Sunday’s NASCAR Cup Series race at Homestead-Miami Speedway is due to be waved at 3:48 p.m. ET.
Weather is a regular concern for NASCAR races in Florida, but this weekend can be an exception. The National Weather Service forecast for Homestead, Fla.Sunday is for sunny skies and temperatures in the low 80s. The only threat to drivers may be wind; the NWS calls for southeast winds of 11 to 20 mph, with gusts of up to 24 mph.
