Cricket greats Shane Warne and Andrew Symonds were stuck in an embarrassing X-rated comment error, tearing Test star Marnus Labuschagne apart when they thought they weren’t on the air.
Twitter user Lenny Phillips shared a clip of Warne and Symonds casually chatting in the Fox Cricket comment box as they worked on the Adelaide Strikers v Melbourne Renegades BBL game.
Things got weird and mean for Labuschagne, as Warne and Symonds were caught in a classic ‘hot mic’ faux pas.
“Do something now for his attention deficit disorder (ADD) pills,” Symonds seemed to say, referring to the eccentric Labuschagne, who scored 91 points for Australia against India at SCG on Friday.
“Yeah, damn,” Warne replied.
“Damn, that’s boring. ‘No !!!’ Just f — ing beats correctly, ”he continued, referring to Labuschagne’s bizarre methods at the fold.
“We’ll have to give him the bunch of pigs,” Symonds – a term that refers to a bunch of people jumping on someone – said as the two men laughed.
“Dude, if you keep this shit up, we’re gonna have to crush your ass.”
Unsurprisingly, Twitter lit up with its own comments as the clip began to go viral.
Kayo Sports later apologized for the “unacceptable comments”.
