The other Tiger Woods PGA Tour players greeted him on Sunday wearing his signature to the red and black final.
Woods deeply appreciated the gesture.
“It’s hard to explain how touching I was today when I turned on the television and saw all the red shirts,” he wrote on Twitter after the fourth round of the World Golf Championships-Workday Championship. “For every golfer and fan, you are truly helping me through this difficult time.”
Woods is recovering from several injuries he suffered in a car accident Tuesday in California. He is recovering at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles.
