Kudos to Tom Brady: The Buccaneers quarterback won his seventh Super Bowl ring after Tampa Bay defeated the Chiefs 31-9 at Super Bowl 55.
Of course, most anoint Brady the greatest champion with two ring weighted hands. With his seventh ring, Brady had the most NFL championships – surpassing the total of all franchises in the league alone. Brady, however, isn’t the only one who has collected a handful of championship jewelry.
For example, former NBA player Robert horry Brady tweeted to congratulate him on joining the “7 Chip Club” after Brady’s historic victory. Horry is one of nine NBA players to have at least seven titles to his name.

In the NHL, there are nine guys who lifted the Lord Stanley Cup at least seven times, with Henri Richard at the top of the list: “The Pocket Rocket” has 11 Stanley Cups, all won with Montreal between 1956 and 1973. This includes five in a row between 1956 and 1960.
There are also a few guys who have seven or more chips when they combine their Cups won as player then coach; Al Arbor’s seven (three as a player and four as a coach with the Islanders); Larry Robinson, who placed 10th in 2019 with the Blues (six with the Canadiens as a player and three as a coach with the Devils); or the nine of Jacques Lemaire (eight as a player with the Canadiens and one as a bench chief for the Devils in 1995).
There’s also coaching legend Scotty Bowman, who won nine cups between the Canadiens, Penguins and Red Wings.
