Who is responsible for Andrade and Charlotte flair meet? Believe it or not, it was none other than Karl Anderson of IMPACT Wrestling.
Tonight Andrade spoke to Hugo Savinovich about Lucha Libre online on a variety of topics. On how he and Charlotte came together, he thanked Karl Anderson for being the one who introduced them following a UK tour with WWE.
Andrade shared the story of Anderson calling him and wanting to speak to him behind the scenes about catering for their upcoming match. He also let Andrade know that he wanted to introduce him to someone.
They returned from the UK tour and he got a text from Karl Anderson. He wanted to talk to her about the restoration of the match. Karl called him to want to introduce him to someone.

Karl Anderson is the definition of a “good brother” for Andrade
Andrade had no idea who Anderson intended to introduce him to and was surprised to find that it was Flair. Andrade admitted that he was nervous about going on a date with her because they were working together, and he was “a little intimidated”.
Andrade described Flair as a “shy person” when they first met and looked nothing like the character she plays on WWE TV. He said he wanted to keep his relationship with Flair a secret, but it eventually aired on WrestleMania 35 weekend in the New York / New Jersey area.
Fortunately, Andrade said almost everyone accepts it and is happy for both of them. He said the few people who didn’t like it weren’t important anyway.
He says she was actually a shy person. Not like the wrestling character when they were talking.
