Disney has already announced a premium VOD plan for its next big animated film, a new link for Hulu and ESPN +, and a Star Wars news truck. Now, during its Investor Day presentation, the studio announced two live action movies, Pinocchio (directed by Robert Zemeckis and with Tom Hanks) and Peter Pan and Wendy, will both come to Disney + instead of theaters. While Disney still has plans to bring some movies to theaters next year (Pixar and MCU news is yet to come), it’s clearly mix things up as promised and focus on the streaming service.
